Part-Time Volunteer Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and organized Part-Time Volunteer Coordinator to support our community programs and events. This role is essential in helping us engage, support, and manage volunteers who contribute to our work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, onboard, and support volunteers

  • Match volunteers with roles based on skills and availability

  • Create and manage volunteer schedules

  • Communicate with volunteers regarding updates, tasks, and events

  • Track volunteer participation and maintain accurate records

  • Provide on-site support during events and activities

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive volunteer environment

  • Assist with coordination and logistics of community programs

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organization and time management abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, forms)

  • Experience in community work or volunteering is an asset, but not required

  • A passion for community engagement and supporting others
