Part-Time Volunteer Coordinator
We are seeking a motivated and organized Part-Time Volunteer Coordinator to support our community programs and events. This role is essential in helping us engage, support, and manage volunteers who contribute to our work.
Key Responsibilities
Recruit, onboard, and support volunteers
Match volunteers with roles based on skills and availability
Create and manage volunteer schedules
Communicate with volunteers regarding updates, tasks, and events
Track volunteer participation and maintain accurate records
Provide on-site support during events and activities
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive volunteer environment
Assist with coordination and logistics of community programs
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organization and time management abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, forms)
Experience in community work or volunteering is an asset, but not required
A passion for community engagement and supporting others
